LaserNet US Awards Expected 20 May 2019

Apr 16, 2019. News

The first Call for Proposals for LaserNet US (for the July 2019 – December 2019 cycle) has now closed.  A Proposal Review Panel (PRP) has been established, with a well-balanced mixture of committee members selected to represent the organizations and disciplines across high energy density and high-intensity laser science.  This PRP will be meeting in the next few weeks to deliberate and evaluate proposals on their scientific and technical merit, before forwarding on to the LaserNet US Facility Directors for a facility feasibility evaluation.  It is expected that award decisions will be released by 20 May 2019.  Any questions about the review process or timeline can be directed to the LaserNet US PRP Chair, Tammy Ma (ma8@llnl.gov).
