HEDLP Funding Opportunity Announcement DE-FOA-0002233

The DOE SC program in Fusion Energy Sciences (FES) and the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Defense Program (DP) Office of Experimental Sciences jointly announce their interests in receiving applications for new and renewal awards for research in the SC-NNSA Joint Program in High-Energy-Density (HED) laboratory plasmas. All individuals or groups planning to submit applications for new or renewal funding in Fiscal Year 2020 should submit applications in response to this Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA).

All types of domestic applicants are eligible to apply, except Federally Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC) Contractors, and nonprofit organizations described in section 501(c)(4) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 that engaged in lobbying activities after December 31, 1995.Other Federal agencies are not eligible to receive financial assistance awards and are therefore ineligible to submit applications.

Letter of Intent due Jan 30, 2020. Proposals due March 16, 2020.
